The boat’s motor flipped into the boat, and the propeller struck the 54-year-old man in the back. Unfortunately, he was unable to recover from his injuries. How Lawsuits Can Make A Neighborhood Safer

The Rockland Apartments in Macon, Georgia have been at the center of many crimes in recent years. Between 2011 and 2014 the apartments were vandalized, numerous muggings were perpetrated, and someone was even murdered at the complex, but the family of one of the victims believes that lawsuits can make a neighborhood safer. What Happened? On August 18, 2014 a 40-year-old man who suffered from diabetes-related blindness was fatally shot in his apartment in Macon. The man was known to have medical problems and was receiving disability checks, which is why the police believe he was attacked. The assailant has yet to be caught. The 40-year-old is survived by his four children, and now his family wants to make sure that what happened to their father doesn’t happen to anybody else in that apartment complex.
